Hitting the Trail - Clinic
June 8, 2025
Part of the Victori Equine series, this clinic is a trail ride with your horse that will focus on water encounters, passing on the trail, and stopping and relaxing. Check out the board in the tack room for details if you are interested in signing up for this clinic. This clinic is located at Twin Creek Metropark and will be 10:00 am - 12:00 pm.
Camp Kern Advanced Horse Camp - Open now for registration
Designed for confident, campers who know their leads and love a challenge. Advanced horse camp blends high level riding with immersive workshops in health, training, and teamwork - Western and English riders welcome. Check out their website for more information.

Equine Affaire - April 9-12, 2026, Columbus, Ohio
This is North America’s premiere equine exposition and equestrian gathering . . . a unique celebration of the horse offering unparalleled education, entertainment, and shopping opportunities. This event is a great way to see different riding disciplines, watch clinics, check out cool products and just have a great time with all horse stuff! Preble County BCSHA Horse Show - May 23, 2026 9:00 am - Done
This is a good show to graduate to after trying out the BB Barn schooling show or the Preble County August FUN SHOW.

You are required to wear appropriate show attire for this event. This is for any student who wants to show some horses in-hand as well as English classes. See the board in the tack room for information on barn fees and show costs.

Preble County BCSHA Horse Show - May 24, 2026 9:00 am - Done
This is a good show to graduate to after trying out the BB Barn schooling show or the Preble County August FUN SHOW.

Old Stone Riding Center Memorial Day Dressage Show, May 31, 2026
This is a great location to get started in dressage. It is a smaller show with a great learning atmosphere. The appropriate show attire is required and you must be able to proficiently ride a pattern. You must sign-up online or via mail to Julie Primack at Old Stone at least a week before the show date. See the board in the tack room for information on barn fees.

Old Stone Riding Center Equine Summer Camps 2026
Interested in participating in a local horse camp! This one is close by and offers a great week all about horses!
​
The fun includes:

Games and activities each day, on horses, with horses, and about horses

Crafts and art projects

Visits from horse professionals such as farriers, veterinarians, dentists, massage therapiste, etc.

CAMP DATES:
Camp 1 - A Leg Up - June 9th - June 13th - For ages 6-16
Camp 2 - Horsing Around - July 28th - Aug 1st - For ages 6-16

Helge's Horsmanship Clinic - June 27, 2026 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
This clinic is always a popular event! There are spots available for audit for $10.00 which provides you lunch for the day. This is a great opportunity for students to learn different groundwork skills and horsemanship skills. Michelle will be riding in the clinic with Fuerst Ferdinand.

Preble County BCSHA FUN Show - August 22, 2026 9:00 am - Done
This is a great first show for kids as you do not need to wear show clothes. The dress code is no tank tops and no shorts. This is a great show to begin your horse showing journey.

This is for any student who wants to show some horses in-hand as well as English classes. This show also offers games and a COSTUME CLASS, if you are interested. It is a lot of fun! See the board in the tack room for information on barn fees and show costs.
